Sarah Elizabeth Lane
Sarah Lane is an artist who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio in a family of artists, and when not in school, she spent most of her time in the garden and the woods, admiring the slow movements of the praying mantis and the quickness of the hummingbird. Lane went to West Point, where she studied English and engineering, then served as an Army Engineer, traveling to Haiti and all around the United States. Lane, her husband, four kids, dog and chickens, thrive in Washington State, where their yard has become a garden and the world has become her studio. She lives in vibrant color and seeks to share the beauty of this world through her art.
