THE PANDEMIC PUZZLE | Mandy Quan

 Mandy Quan is a recent graduate of Rice University with a background in sociocultural anthropology and the medical humanities. She is interested in emotional and embodied experience, or the "excess" part of human life that often evades capture by medical technologies. With training in ethnographic methods, she is interested in the social interactions and meaning making that facilitate our understandings of suffering and healing. She is a deep believer in the power of storytelling and is excited to be exploring narrative through creative mediums.
