Hannah Brooks (b.1995) is a Southern printmaker and interdisciplinary artist currently based in Boston, MA. Brooks feels deep kinship towards the traditions of art and culture held in the Southern United States. As a printmaker, Brooks' work discusses the body and its surroundings. Most recently, she looks at maps of cities and blueprints to then layer the imagery with printmaking. Brooks had her first solo show, Drafting Derma, at MINT Gallery in Atlanta, GA this past April. In May of 2021, she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking from Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design at Georgia State University.
